Learning From My Wagering Failures
I have been gambling on the net or at real life casinos for many years. I have found out, the addiction can take a hold of you and you will not even see it until you are bankrupt. Markedly if you are on a run. I have been through uncounted thousands of dollars in just a short period of time and still on occasion, I can go a bit too long. It appears you are only enjoying yourself up until you make a choice to track your squanderings and the guilt sets in, and of course you keep advising yourself "I am able to gain it back" ad infinitum. It doesn’t work. Then you get icky in your stomach and the more you try the quicker you lose.
When you see that you are up, STAY Ahead! When you begin to give away, do not tell yourself, "well just one more" and again and again, believe in me, this method barely ever functions. Say you plan on gambling on slot machine games, have a figure set aside ahead of beginning your wagering. DO NOT go over that limit, no matter how tempting. If you happen to profit, put that in a different pot. Don’t bet your profits at any cost. Once you have wagered through your beginning predetermined limit, stop. Leave, whether it’s online or at a real life gambling hall, do not stay around. Make sure to remember, there will be another day, other times. Obviously, this tactic usually will work for any game that you gamble on, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, 21 or any other casino game.
Remember, gaming is supposed to be enjoyable not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If you cannot manage the loss, don’t ever begin.
